Caroline Bryant has been a court advocate for over 25 years.
Following qualification as a barrister, Caroline was a member of the editorial team of Halsbury's Laws of England. In 1986 she left behind purely academic work to join CPS Suffolk where she spent 10 years managing a busy caseload of summary prosecutions and appearing almost daily in the local Magistrates’ Courts.
In order to expand her work, Caroline continued to prosecute in the Crown Court and to act (mainly for Local Authorities) in Care Proceedings in the County and High Courts. Caroline retired from private practice in 2013.
Although she no longer undertakes court work, Caroline continues to share her knowledge and experience through teaching. Her workshops and seminars enable in-house lawyers to improve their courtroom skills and become effective and confident advocates.
