Naomi Matthews is the Data Protection Team leader and a Senior Solicitor at Nottingham City Council, having previously been employed in private practice as a solicitor specialising in criminal litigation. She obtained her higher rights qualification, which enabled her to exercise rights in the Crown Court in all criminal proceedings in 2009. She has since obtained two qualifications in data protection.
She has a particular interest in issues relating to Data Protection, RIPA and regulatory matters.
She is an experienced trainer and has provided training on a number of matters including RIPA and Data protection. She was commended on a recent inspection for providing a well-designed training programme.
